
Dr. Martha Eddy, CMA, RSMT .brings over twenty years of experience teaching in higher education. During 18 of those years, Dr. Eddy has also been a leader in the field of somatic education and dance, as an author, an internationally renowned lecturer, a master educator serving on two of the faculties (the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies and The School for BodyMind Centering) and her own program – Dynamic Embodiment Somatic Movement Therapy Training (SMTT), and on the board of the International Somatic Movement and Therapy Association (past President) for 15 years. She taught on the graduate faculty of Teachers College, Columbia University from 1991 – 2001 and has currently integrated her somatic education training into degree programs with SUNY – ESC and the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute’s doctoral program.
