Irv Katz, Ph.D., Chancellor of IUPS, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been on the forefront of education and psychology for over 50 years. Dr. Katz, the former chairman of the Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, and Director of the Graduate Program for Antioch University in the State of Hawaii, has worked with important figures in the field of psychology, including Drs. Milton Erickson, Fritz Perls, & Carl Rogers. He has taught at numerous universities including the University of Houston, Fordham University, University of Humanistic Studies, Professional School of Psychological Studies, Michigan State University, and Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Katz has worked extensively in the field of health and wellness and founded the Hawaiian Health Holiday program. He was Director of the Center For Holistic Health and participated in numerous programs involving stress reduction, life coaching, optimal performance and the body/mind/spiritual approach to health and transformation.
