Juliet Bruce, Ph.D., is a writer, counselor, and speaker on creativity and healing. Since 1996, Dr. Bruce has brought the transformational power of story to hundreds of people in Washington, DC and New York City.
ln 2004-2005, she was the first Fellow in Spirituality and Health at the Library of Congress, where she researched her book in progress about the impact of a workshop based on mythic narrative ofr mentally ill, violent prisoners.

In 2007, with the support of the Brimstone Award for Applied Storytelling, she facilitated a healing workshop for New York City firefighters who continue to suffer the emotional impact of 9/11.
